May Allah cure us all of all the spirititual and physical
maladies! First, listen to a point. Some Muslims are also saying that the place
where the Baburi Masjid was constructed was named "Janamasthan" i.e.
the birth place. This is totally wrong. Firstly, this thing is not proved that
the birth place of Raam was Ayudhia. Still the people who consider Ayudhia the
birth place also tell many places. India is specially the bundle of lies. A
short while ago, the RSS had claimed that "Hajr-e-Aswad" was
shavelling. Frankly speaking, what right the Indian court has to decide a
centuries old issue? Sixty-three years have passed since the creation of India
itself. It must also be decided that if there was Raam Mandar before Baburi
Masjid, what was there before the Raam Mandar? In that case, those people will
have the right over this land who were its owners before Raam Mandar. Will the
present day courts decide the cases of the times of Hazrat Adam ? Actually,
some people pass controversial remarks in order to call themselves judges. They
do not know that it is a matter of Masjid. Masjid is Allah's House and modesty
of the Muslims. Idols were worshipped in Ka'ba also. When the Muslims, under
the leadership of the Holy Prophet conquered Makkah by force, there were 360 idols
in holy Ka'ba. Then Ka'ba was cleaned. Now, no one has the right to judge the
old history and make a decision. Islam and Infidelity are not equal. The
monotheists and polytheists do not enjoy equal rights. When a Masjid is
constructed, it remains there till the Doomsday and Baburi Masjid is Baburi
Masjid from the very first day. By Allah, do not cool down the blood of the
Muslims that the people may drink it considering it juice. By Allah, do not
disgrace the candle of sense of honour that people may begin to regard
wantonness as wisdom. No insane person has said that Islam will be in danger if
Raam Mandar is constructed in place of Baburi Masjid but it was pronounced
that, if God forbids, it happens, it will be disgrace to Islam and the Muslim
and no Muslim who has sucked the blood of his mother can tolerate this
disgrace. If the polytheists like Hindus can fight so courageously on the basis
of a supposition, why can a Muslim not sacrifice for a fact. Remember, Baburi
Masjid is the future of twenty billion Muslims of the subcontinent. Advani
himself had said, "We would demolish 3000 Mosques after the Baburi
Masjid." Then the names of those mosques were issued by the media but the
Muslims steeped in the colouring of Islamic sense of honour refused to undergo
this oppression and wantonness easily. The voices "Oh Baburi Masjid, Oh
Baburi Masjid" from the East to the West heated the blood of the Muslims.
In spite of being the Deputy Prime Minister of India, Advani could not
construct the Raam Mandar. Allah be thanked, the Muslims are still alive and
know how to face the circumstances. The Nehru Gandhi family is the worst enemy
of Islam. The Congress has decided to bargain the case of Baburi Masjid in
order to remain in power for fifty years more but Sonia and Rahole Ghandi will
soon realize that the stone is too heavy to lift. Let us stop this topic here and discuss an interesting
topic. The column was started with the supplication for "Cure." Everybody
is often ill. These days, there are fairs of diseases and the doctors are
earning much. Ever since the creation of humanity, our Holy Prophet enjoyed
with the best health. The Holy Prophet called "Al-Hijaamah" the best
cure.
A
short while ago, when I read about "Al-Hijaamah" in the world famous
book of Allama Ibn Qayyim named "Zaad-ul-Ma'ad" I was wondered. Allah
has placed the cure of so many diseases in this so easy treatment. Allama Ibn
Qayyim has enumerated so many diseases that are cured due to such treatment.
"Al-Hijaamah" means taking out blood from the skin of the body at
different places. The diseases go out with this filthy blood and the body is
healthy.
Our Holy Prophet used to apply this treatment very regularly so much so, he did so even in fasting and Ehraam. But the situation with us is that we remain deprived of this treatment and blessing all our lives. A few days ago, I attended to this treatment all of a sudden whereas we have been studying about "Al-Hijaamah" ever since we started religious education. Now, when Allah attracted our attention to it, we thought of reviving this Sunnah method of treatment in Bahawalpur. A few companions were appointed to learn it and the services of an expert teacher was also hired. Allah be thanked, four companions have learnt this method only after three days' effort and have purified the bodies of dozens of individuals of filthy blood. We have been doing this job since long. Jihaad itself is "Al-Hijaamah" of the entire world. The filthy blood is extracted and the world is purified of infidelity, polytheism, subversion and oppression. When the filthy blood of Makkah was extracted and dropped into the well of Badr, Makkah was cured. Then Makkah again became the centre of Guidance in no time. Let it go. It is a separate topic. Many of you must be ill. Besides physical ailments , evil eye, jealous eye and spell are also cured through "Al-Hijaamah." Our Holy Prophet himself has told us about the parts of the body where the germ diseases get accumulated. If blood is extracted from there, all the ailments are uprooted. The traditions tell about the places, proper dates and reasonable days for "Al-Hijaamah." I requested my learned friend to collect a few traditions and narrations about "Al-Hijaamah." May Allah bless him with good reward that he collected thirty narrations at once. Let us study those narrations and have a look at another aspect of the Holy life of our Holy Prophet and then recite Durood Sharif at him and his progeny in the morning and in the evening, the day and the night.

Al-Hijaamah - A few Traditions:
(1) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas æ says that the Holy Prophet said,
"Cure lies in three things i.e. cutting on skin to drop blood, drinking
honey and branding with fire. I forbid my Ummah to brand with fire."
(Al-Bukhari P: 848, V-11, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 550)
(2) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas says, "Once the Holy Prophet
had got a cut at his skin when he was fasting. (Al-Bukhari P: 849, V-11,
Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 554)
(3) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas reports, "The Holy Prophet had
a cut at his skin when he was in a state of Ehram." (Al-Bukhari P: 849,
V-11)
(4) Hazrat Anas reports that he was asked about wages of applying
a cut at skin whether it is lawful or unlawful. He said, "The Messenger of
Allah had got a cut at skin. Abu Tayyiba applied a cut at the skin of the Holy
Prophet . He gave him the wages. He talked to their lords and they decreased in
the tax received from them. The Holy Prophet said, "The best treatment
that you have is to get a cut at skin (Pachna). (Al-Bhukhari P: 849, V-11,
Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 551)
(5) Hazrat Jaabir bin Abdullah went to inquire after Muqanna' and
said to him, "I shall not go back until you get Pachna applied as I have
heard the Holy Prophet saying that there is cure in it." (Al-Bukhari P:
849, V-11)
(6) Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas reports that the Messenger of Allah
had a pachna in his head. (Al-Bukhari P: 849, V-11)
(7) Hazrat Jaabir reports that I heard the Holy Prophet saying,
"If there is some good in your medicines, it is in drinking honey, having a
Pachna and branding with fire but I dislike branding with fire."
(Al-Bukhari P: 850, V-11)
(8) Hazrat Anas reports that the Holy Prophet used to have Pachna
at veins on both sides of the neck and the shoulders. He would do this on the
17th, 19th or 21st of the moon." (Tirmizi P:25, V-11, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P:553)
(9) Hazrat Ibn Masood says that telling the story of Me'raaj, the
Holy Prophet said, "Whichever group of angels I passed by, they requested
me to order my Ummah to have Pachnas." (Tirmizi P:25 V-11)
(10) Hazrat Ikrima says, "Hazrat Ibn Abbas had three slaves
who would apply Pachnas to the people. Two of them worked on wages and the
third would apply Pachnas to him and his family." The reporter says that
Hazrat Ibn Abbas used to quote this saying of the Holy Prophet , "How good
is the slave who applies Pachna, takes away blood, lightens the back and clears
the eye-sight." He also said, "On my journey to Me'raaj, every group
of angels by whom I passed said to me to have "Hijaamah" at any
cost." Moreover, he said that they the best days for Pachna are 17th ,19th
and 21st of he moon and that the best treatment is Saoot Ladood and applying
Pachna. (Tirmizi P:25 V-11, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 551)
(11) Hazrat Abdu Huraira reports the Holy Prophet saying,
"The best medicine for you is Hijaamah i.e. getting Pachna applied. (Abu
Dawood P: 183, V-1)
(12) Hazrat Salma , the maid-servant of the Holy Prophet says,
"The person who complained of his headache to the Holy Prophet , he
advised him Pachna and the one who complained of footache, he advised him to
apply myrtle." (Abu Dawood P: 183, V-11)
(13) It is reported by Hazrat Abu Kabtha Anmari that the Holy
Prophet used to have "Fasad" in the brald of his hair and between
both the shoulders and would say, "The person who gets his blood shed at
this place, not using medicine, no disease will harm him." (Abu Dawood P:
188, V-11, Ibn Maaja P: 249)
(14) Hazrat Abul Hurairah reports the Holy Prophet , "The
person who gets Seengi applied on 17th, 19th, and 21st of the moon; it will be
a cure for him for every disease." (Abu Dawood P: 184, V-11, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad
P: 553)
(15) Hazrat Jaabir reports that he sent a physician to Hazrat
Ubhy. That physician cut his vein to apply Pachna. (Abu Dawood P: 184, V-11)
(16) Hazrat Jaabir reports, "The Holy Prophet got Pachna
applied at the upper part f his thigh due to pain in the bone. (Abu Dawood P:
184, V-11, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 552)
(17) Hazrat Abu Hurairah reports the Holy Prophet saying,
"The treatment that you apply, if there in good in anyone, it is to have
Pachna." (Ibn Maaja P: 248)
(18) Hazrat Ibn Abbas reports the Holy Prophet saying,
"During the Me'raaj journey, every group of angels whom I passed by,
requested me to make arrangements to apply Pachna." (Ibn Maajah P: 248)
(19) Hazrat Ibn Abbas reports the Holy Prophet saying, "Good
is the slave who applies Pachnas! He extracts blood, lightens the back and
brightens the eye-sight." (Ibn Maajah P: 248)
(20) Hazrat Anas bin Maalik reports the Holy Prophet saying,
"Every group by whom I passed on the Shab-e-Me'raaj, said to me to order
my Ummah to apply Pachnas." (Ibn Maajah P: 248, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 551)
(21) Hazrat Jabbir reports that when Hazrat Salma asked permission of the Holy
Prophet , he ordered Abu Tayyiba to apply her Pachnas. He reporter says that
Abu Tayyiba was the foster-brother of Hazrat Umme Salma or he was very young.

(22) Hazrat Abdullah bin Bahsina says, "The Holy Prophet got
Pachnas applied at his head at Lahee Jamal when he was in Ehraam" (Ibn
Maajah P: 248, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 552)
(23) Hazrat Ali reports that Hazrat Jibrail brought the command to
the Holy Prophet to apply Pachnas at veins to both sides of the neck and
between both shoulders. (Ibn Maajah P: 249, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 552)
(24) Hazrat Anas says, " The Holy Prophet got Pachnas applied
at veins to both sides of the neck and between the shoulders." (Ibn Maajah
P: 249, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 552)
(25) Hazra Jaabir reports that the Holy Prophet fell from his
horse on the stump of dates and his foot was sprained. Wakee' says, "It
means that the Holy Prophet got Pachnas applied due to pain in bone."
(26) Hazrat Anas bin Maalik reports the Holy Prophet saying,
" The man who wants to apply Pachnas, should apply it on 17th, 19th or
21st of the moon lest the pressure of blood should kill any of you." (Ibn
Maajah P: 249/Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 553)
(27) Hazrat Naafi' reports Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar saying, "
O Naafi', there is high blood pressure to me. Seek someone who may apply
pachnas. If possible bring a mild person, not the old aged or young child
because I have heard the Holy Prophet saying that getting Pachnas applied in
fasting is better. There is cure and blessing in it. It increases in sagacity,
and sharkpens memory. May Allah bles you, get pachnas applied on Thursday and
avoid it on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (If it happens incidently,
there is no harm in it.) Get Pachnas applied on Monday and Tuesday because
Allah blessed Hazrat Ayub with health on these days. He fell ill on Wednesday
and if leprosy appears, it appears on Wednesday or Wednesday night" (Ibn
Maajah P: 249, Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 554)
(28) Hazrat Abu Bakr reports the Holy Prophet saying,
"Tuesday is the day of blood. There comes a moment on this day when the
blood does not stop." (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 554, Abi Dawood P: 148, V-11)
(29) Do apply Pachnas at the middle of the bone above the nape of
the neck because it cures five diseases." (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P: 552)
(30) The Holy Prophet said, "Do apply Pachnas in the gap
above the nape because it cures seventy-two diseases." (Zaad-ul-Ma'ad P:
552)
